The challenges of life and death that many students encounter daily are undeniably real. However, it's remarkable how the Cadañino after-school programs and youth activities have become a source of solace and motivation for students who feel like they're walking through the valley of the shadow of death during very hard times.

Learning can be fun. At Cadaniño we give students a space where they feel safe, secure, and loved. We create an environment that empowers students to discover their God-given gifts and abilities and use them to their greatest potential in a way that glorifies God.
Vulnerable children can truly relate to the story of Joseph. Loss, pain, suffering, betrayal, and hardship are all things they face in their lives. Seeing how God used everything he went through, to bring good, not just in his life, but in everyone around him, is vital for them to learn.
Understanding why we are here, not just to teach and train kids today, but to guide them to a relationship with their Heavenly Father for eternity, is vital when working in difficult places where life can be cut short tomorrow.
The Unquantifiable. During my time as a missionary in Guatemala I have found that there are some things that are connected to our lives which we never see in their fullness. Like the ripples in a pond carrying out from the splash made by a rock tossed into water. The fruit of and long term effects of ministry oftentimes carry on beyond our sight.
When do you stop looking for, helping and serving a lost sheep that just wants to go its own way? I’ll tell you when, it’s when Christ stops looking for us. A story of our ministry to the orphaned, vulnerable and disabled.
Lessons from a missionary in Guatemala. Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. Despite our best efforts, despite our good intentions, despite the fact that we may have even done things correctly. They…just…don’t…turn…out.
